Child Custody Evaluation
When divorcing parents (or parents who are not married) have difficulty coming to agreement on a parenting arrangement, they turn to the courts for resolution. In turn, lawyers and judges may turn to a psychologist to do a child custody evaluation. The report which is sent to the court may also reviewed by the attorneys and parents.

A child custody evaluation itself is a complex procedure, potentially leading to an attorney's questions and concerns regarding:
* Procedures followed in the evaluation
* Information gathered
* Balance within the report
* Interpretations within the report
* Conclusions
* Recommendations

With extensive experience in doing child custody evaluations, Dr. Northman can help an attorney assess the strengths and limitations of a child custody evaluation report, in turn enabling the attorney to better guide the client.
