Co-Parent Counseling is ideally suited for separated or divorced parents who wish to cooperate in raising their children.

It is very well recognized that children of divorce do best when their parents can continue to communicate effectively around important issues concerning the children. 

Co-Parent Counseling sessions provide a calm, neutral environment for discussing children’s issues.  With Dr. Northman’s experience and expertise in working with families, he can shape and lead the dialogue so that parents focus solely on their common interest: their children.  All previous husband-wife issues are left aside.  It’s a win-win as children and parents recognize that both parents truly do have their children’s best interests at heart.  Children are thus reassured by knowing that their separated/divorced parents are really working together for their benefit.
